Job Description:- Band 8a Specialist Technical and Clinical Pharmacist- Working hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 PM or 9:00am - 5:00pm- ASAP start - 3 month contract with possibility of extension- Monday to Friday- Hourly rate of £35 (rate depending on experience)
You will be participating in the final release and dispensing of chemotherapy and other products prepared in aseptic units and outsourced aseptic products. You will be assisting the Head of Technical services to ensure the quality management system is upheld at all times.
Requirements:- HCPC registration- 6 months NHS experience minimum- Right to Work in the UK
Must have previous Hospital Pharmacy Technical Services experience, and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) with the ability to apply this in practice.
The post holder will be required to handle, check and store cytotoxic agents, monoclonal antibody products, and penicillin products.
