We are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, to work on an ongoing basis in London. Please see details of the role below;
 
Details:
Role: Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist - working with 1 specific child with an EHCP
Days: any day
Hours: 1.5 hours a week
Pay: £100+ an hour
Start: ASAP
Length: Ongoing
 
Additional Info:
Child X has specific niche needs. EHCP is available upon request. Below is a summary of their needs:
 
a) Child X has a seizure disorder (genetic epilepsy SLC13A5) and is high risk of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP). 90% of Child X seizures result in status epilepticus.
b) Severe learning difficulty.
c) Impaired attention skills.
d) Impaired play skills.
e) Child X has poor Oro-motor skills Oro-pharyngeal dysphagia (difficulties with eating and drinking).
f) Severely disordered sensory processing skills. Child X also has profound difficulties with emotional and sensory regulation and modulation.
g) Hypermobility.
h) Lower limb developing anatomical deformity.
i) Severely disordered and delayed fine and gross motor skills.
j) Dystonia.
k) Muscle weakness/ loss of tone lasting from minutes to hours.
l) Severely delayed and disordered language, communication, and social communication. 
m) Impaired independence and self-care skills.
n) Impaired executive functioning.
o) Child X can display anxious, stressed, and avoidant behaviours and responses.
 
Requirements:
NHS experience (6 months minimum)
Right to Work in the UK
HCPC Registration
